A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out

We work with those who are homeless. Most have no source of income.  Some are addicted to drugs. Some suffer from mental illness. We provide them with a place to sleep, food to eat, and the necessary support to navigate a transition to self-sufficiency.  In exchange, we require them to attend support groups, follow-through on their obligations and avoid the self-destructive behaviors that have added to their current problems. Along the way, we help instill the self-confidence they need to achieve their goals.
